The Motion Raceworks active catch can kit is designed to create the best of both worlds when it comes to PCV. Our Active two stage catch can acts as a sealed system under normal driving conditions featuring a PCV check valve as well as an active valve on the top. This means that under normal driving the crank case pressure will flow through the engine and oil will collect in the can by knocking oil out of the crank case pressure charge. This is accomplished using a complex baffling system and vacuum source from the engine to draw fresh air through one side of the valve cover (filtered by an filter intake pipe like factory), out the other valve cover and into the catch can. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eWith this closed system kit, when pressure is built up and under spirited driving or racing the pressure is able to be released out of the top of the catch can back to the intake for a true no smell operation.
