WELDER / FABRICATOR
Job Summary:
The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating and welding race car components, roll cages, chassis, and other high-performance parts. This role requires precision welding, metal fabrication, and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality craftsmanship for our racing program and customers.
Experience in race car assembly, wiring, and plumbing is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and chromoly materials.
Fabricate chassis, suspension components, and custom race car parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
Utilize metalworking tools such as saws, grinders, presses, and tubing benders.
Ensure all fabricated parts meet strict safety and performance standards.
Collaborate with customers, crew members, and crew chiefs to optimize designs for racing applications.
Maintain a clean and organized fabrication space.
Inspect finished products for quality control and structural integrity.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in motorsports or a high-performance environment.
Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding, particularly with chromoly, aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel.
Strong metal fabrication skills, including tube bending, cutting, and notching.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience with race car chassis fabrication is highly preferred.
Knowledge of NHRA and/or other racing safety regulations is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Race car assembly, wiring, and plumbing experience is highly preferred.
