Basic Holley EFI Tuning Course

This course is your foundation for tuning on the Holley EFI platform. We start with the different ECUs available and how to choose the right system for your project, along with the key features of each and some installation basics to get you set up correctly from the start. From there, students learn software navigation and how to keep firmware and software updated, then move into building a base tune, pin mapping your inputs and outputs, and setting up basic ignition. We cover getting the engine running and basic tuning, closed loop operation and its functions, and datalog setup and navigation , plus file storage and organization so your tunes and logs stay usable long after class. We finish with a basic power adder overview to round out your understanding of how different combinations affect the tune.

The first day is spent in the classroom building that knowledge base. The second day moves onto the dyno, where students see those same principles applied in real time, watching how the adjustments they just learned actually change the way the engine responds.

Courses are led by our experienced team of instructors, with over 18 years of experiencing in tuning and instruction. 

Please note that you will need to bring a Windows laptop with the Holley V6 software installed prior to arrival to this course. Instructions and a link to the appropriate software will be sent after payment.
